The developer's July launch checklist officially names the Enchantment and Repair Machine as a full-release feature. Current Steam players place the machine on the second floor and connect access with later Outpost quest progression. Exact unlock steps are still community-documented rather than published in the official notes.
Reported repair cost
A current Steam discussion repeatedly reports a 100 Gold repair-and-enchant action. Players compare that cost with buying a replacement and generally favor repair for more expensive weapons that have not been fully destroyed. Treat 100 Gold as a Patch 1.07-era community observation and verify the machine before publishing it as permanent.
Weapon durability and ammunition
The collected beginner footage distinguishes damaged melee weapons from guns that reach zero ammunition. It recommends storing useful weapons near the elevator rather than destroying or discarding them before the repair system is unlocked. A repair may restore the item, but the evidence does not establish a separate reload method for every gun.
Healing and restoring objects
Current videos demonstrate healing bottles or cream being applied to Vessels, allies, and damaged objects.
